German Barn Wedding | Anne and Björn

Exactly today, three years ago, Anne emailed us fort he first time ever with some very personal words about our work and us. She explained her photography career and how she recently found the new love of her life. It all sounded a bit like a fairy-tale and we where really happy to be part of this right from the beginning.

Being a travel junkie herself she wanted some tips for a trip around the world she was planning together with her boyfriend Björn. We emailed back and forth and totally got along without having met each other in person. That changed in 2012 when they came to Munich and we had time to grab lunch together. We connected right from the first second and also had the pleasure to meet over the years again.

We of course noticed the engagement of these two lovebirds and were really happy to hear this fairy tale is continuing. One day last year in April they surprisingly approached us for being part of their wedding and we kinda freaked out! We have never ever even thought about this honor and there isn’t much more exciting of being hired by fellow, very talented, wedding photographers. Also, the pressure is very high too!

Long story short, we flew to Hamburg end of April to be part of the two wedding days of Anne and Björn in Lüneburg and Mölln. We had such a blast and we are super thankful for the warm welcome we experienced. Everyone was very very nice and we loved being part of this emotional and DIY styled barn wedding.

Unbelievable how much work Anne and Björn put into their own wedding to make it their best wedding ever! We know how difficult it is to work in this industry and to find the perfect place and style. To wideness and authentically capture the love between them was truly a huge honor! Thank you for having us with you and thanks to all your family and friends for welcoming us!

Below is their day in photos! Wasn’t it magical? We cannot wait to meet you soon again!

Love
